All your data is stored locally on this device — nothing is sent to any server. This means:

• If you clear your browser data, everything is gone
• If you forget your passkey, there is no recovery
• If your device is lost or damaged, your data goes with it

You are solely responsible for backing up your data. Use the built-in export feature regularly.

Do not rely on DayVault as your only copy of important documents or health records.
